If
you like the style of Leila's paintings, why not have a go yourself?
The
workshops are relaxed and inspiring, packed with plenty of ideas for you to try.
You will be shown
various techniques, and given time to explore them with
guidance from Leila. Come along with an open mind, ready to try something
new, and you will be rewarded with the joy of creative discovery.
The emphasis is on experimenting with acrylic paint and mixed media to
create exciting textures and effects for you to develop in your own work.
Guidance can also be given on composition, colour and the
use of acrylic paints and mediums in general.
All the workshops are suitable for complete beginners,
or experienced artists wanting to learn something new.
Even if you think you "can't paint" you'll be surprised at
what you can achieve with a nudge in the right direction!
As well as a selection of Leila’s own paintings, there will be a variety
of art books for you to browse. Tea and coffee is provided.
Please bring acrylic paints, brushes, some boards to paint on, a
sketch book and whatever materials you have. There will
be a selection of materials to supplement your own,
and MDF boards, 30cm x 20cm, available for £1.

Textured Seascapes using
acrylics & mixed media

10.00am - 4.00pm Chipping Warden,

Leila will demonstrate how to paint a textured seascape in several
stages which you will try yourself. You will learn some new
approaches which you can develop further on your own after the
workshop, in whatever subject matter you choose.
The
venue is the spacious, modern and well equipped
custom built workshop in a beautiful rural location
at Cool Contours,
Chipping Warden, Banbury, Oxfordshire
Please
note that a delicious two course lunch at the farmhouse,
and cake in the afternoon is included in the price of this workshop.

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, and the balance is
due two weeks prior to the workshop.

send together with a £15 deposit per workshop
to secure your place. The balance is due on arrival.
